At their 13 April 2020 board meeting, the Berkeley County Farmland Protection Board adopted a new application form as well as a new scoring scheme. These changes reflect a greater emphasis on large, working farms and also remove some award categories that were difficult to quantify. In July 2020 (the beginning of FY2021), all current applicants will be asked to use the FY2021 application form when reapplying to the program. This will ensure that all applicants for the FY20201 funding pool are using the same forms.
