Resa Ingram-Orsini was announced as the Executive Director by the Berkeley County Farmland Protection Board, following the announcement of F. Mark Schiavone’s retirement. Resa is a fourth generation farmer, and was raised in Berkeley County. She says, “I have big shoes to fill following all that Mark has done for the program, but I can’t wait to educate the community about our program and protect as many farms as we can.” Resa officially started her role as of 1 June, with a month of training with Mark, before completely taking over upon Mark’s full retirement at the end of June.
