Welcome to the Jefferson County Farmland Protection Program

Agriculture should continue as an integral and viable part of the county’s economy, landscape, natural resources, and sense of community. In accordance with West Virginia State Code §8A-12-1 et seq, the mission of the Jefferson County Farmland Protection Board is to protect productive farmland for future generations in order to maintain the long-term viability of agriculture in Jefferson County.
